Awards

Along the way, John Evans has received numerous awards and recognition’s. Some examples are:

• The United Veterans Committee has twice recognized John for his work with military veterans in Colorado.
• The Water Shed Assembly recognized John for his environmental work preserving Colorado’s precious water resources.
• The Natural Fuels Corporation recognized John for work on legislation regarding alternative fuel vehicles.
• The National Association of Oil and Gas Royalty Owners recognized John for his work on Oil and Gas Regulation in Colorado.
• The Colorado Bar Association recognized John for his reform of the Probate Code and for his work on Trusts.
• The AARP awarded John their top citation for his work to reduce property taxes for senior citizens.
  

Recognition

Evans Legal Group is a member of the Parker Chamber of Commerce. John Evans is a fifth generation Coloradan. He is an Army Veteran recipient of the Army Commendation Medal and he considers remembering our Colorado heritage as important.

John is the founder of the Rural and Agricultural Section of the Colorado Bar Association. The people of Colorado elected John into the State Board of Education and he served Douglas and Elbert Counties in Colorado State Senate.
